Meet the Doctors
Robert R. Scharp, D.D.S
Dr. Scharp is originally from Belleville, MI. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of Michigan in 1965 and completed his D.D.S. at the University of Michigan in 1970.
Throughout his career, he's had the privilege of working with many other talented dentists, in addition to practicing on his own. He currrently owns both Big Rapids and Reed City Dental Health Care.
Dr. Scharp is a member of the Michigan Dental Association, and a lifetime member of the American Dental Association. In addition to practicing, he has lectured throughout the country and has served as a clinician for Siemens Dental and as an instructor for American Dental Laser.
Dr. Scharp is deeply devoted to dentistry and loves drawing on his experience to teach new dentists important skills.
With his wife of 22 years, Dr. Scharp has two children, two step-children, and nine grandchildren. His favorite pastime is spending time with his family on his farm. He also enjoys golfing, photography, and going to his grandchildren's events.
Warren Black, D.D.S.
Originally from Detroit, MI, Dr. Black has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biology, and his D.D.S. from the University of Detroit Mercy. After completing his studies, he practiced at Associated Orthodontists for four years, and then was an associate at Bright Side Dental for six years.
Dr. Black is a member of the:

He has also received a certification in implant dentistry from the Misch Institute and a certification in sedation dentistry from DOCS. What's more, he has orthodontic training and extensive experience treating sleep apnea.
Every day, as Dr. Black encounters a wide range of patients, he enjoys having the opportunity to provide a vital service to the community. Outside of the office, his interests include outdoor sports, traveling with his family, and biking.
Alex Gould, D.M.D.
Originally from Comstock Park, MI, Dr. Gould has a Bachelor of Biochemistry degree from the University of Detroit Mercy. While attending Detroit Mercy, Dr. Gould was a letter winner in both cross country and track and field. He graduated as a top ten performer in school history in the 600m, 800m, 1500m, and 1 mile runs.
Following graduation he went on to attend the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine to obtain a D.M.D.
After dental school, Dr. Gould moved back to Detroit to further his education with a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency through the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. During his residency he received additional training in all aspects of general dentistry. Dr. Gould is a member of the Michigan Dental Association.
In addition to dentistry, Dr. Gould enjoys traveling, music, sports, and being active. Playing basketball and runnng 5K and half marathon races are two of his favorite things to do.
Bryant Dudzik, D.D.S.
Originally from Gowen, MI, Dr. Dudzik has a Bachelor degree from the University of Toledo where he played tennis for four years.
He graduated from the University of Toledo in 2013, and continued his education by attending the University of Michigan’s Dental School. After graduating from dental school in 2017, Dr. Dudzik completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Idaho State University. He was able to undergo extensive training in IV conscious sedation dentistry, oral surgery, dental implants, periodontics, prosthodontics, and much more. Dr. Dudzik is very passionate about preventative medicine and dentistry. He is also a member of Michigan Dental Association.
Dr. Dudzik enjoys playing sports, traveling, hiking, exploring new places, listening to podcasts, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
Lonnita Coulter, D.D.S.
Originally from Flint, MI, Dr. Coulter has a Bachelor degree from the University of Michigan-Flint where she majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry. She was an active member of the school’s Pre-Dental Club.
She graduated from the University of Michigan-Flint in 2012, and continued her education by attending the University of Detroit Mercy’s Dental School. After graduating from dental school in 2017, Dr. Coulter completed a one year General Dentistry residency at the John D. Dingell Veterans Hospital in Detroit, MI. She was able to further develop her skills and gain valuable experience through this opportunity.
Dr. Coulter enjoys walking her dog named “Kitty”, crocheting, dancing, and listening to all types of music.
